Harlem Chamber Players Masterclass and Concert

Keys 2 Success is bringing the Harlem Chamber Players to Newark — so every student gets the chance to experience high quality, classical music.
This masterclass-style event gives students the rare opportunity to work directly with world-class classical musicians: receiving coaching on their performance pieces, hearing the Harlem Chamber Players perform live, and learning about each musician's personal journey through a Q&A. It's mentorship, inspiration, and serious musical preparation all in one room — open to students, families, and the wider Newark community.
Capping off our 2026 Spring Season, this is Keys 2 Success's way of bringing high-quality classical music home to Newark.

Fresh off a triumphant performance at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, the youth of Keys 2 Success invite you to an intimate service with live music — followed by a reception and walking tour through the Keys Museum, a curated exhibit telling the story of our community, our children, and the decade of transformation that brought us here.
See the faces behind the music. Hear the stories that don't fit in a program. Walk through ten years of joy, struggle, growth, and possibility — told through the eyes of New Providence's own.

For our NYC supporters, it's a front-row seat to what Keys has been building: young musicians from Newark performing at the highest level, side by side with their peers from across the country.

Ten years ago, six kids sat down at a keyboard in Newark and changed everything.
On May 12, Keys 2 Success invites you to step inside A Night at The Keys Museum — an immersive evening that transforms Baltusrol Golf Club into a living gallery of what happens when the most overlooked kids in a city are given a stage, a mentor, and a chance to lead.
This is not a typical gala. During cocktail hour, student docents guide guests through original exhibits: the Piano Bus, photos chronicling a decade of transformation, and stories told in the voices of the young people who lived them. The students you meet are not just performers. They are Urban Fellows — former students now earning paychecks as teachers, delivering 60% of Keys' instruction and keeping every dollar earned inside Newark families.
Over dinner, you'll hear directly from those Fellows. You'll see what a decade of sequential support looks like when it compounds. And you'll have the chance to become part of what comes next.
Keys 2 Success has grown from 6 students to 200+, from one site to fifteen, from a dream to a proven model. The next chapter means reaching 400 students, opening 5 new sites, and deepening a program that doesn't extract Newark's brightest and move them elsewhere. It grows them right where they are.
